Gutted I needed this item so fast n had to buy from Maplin direct at £89.99
always come HERE when I can.
but for those who are wondering....WOW very quiet by far the best of all PSU's I've purchased to date
VERY TIDY cables are way long enough and I now have loads of molex and sata splitters spare as this beauty
as well as FOUR PCIe leads ...so perhaps I'll squeeze in some bigger Expansion/GFX cards at a later date!!!
copes with my 7x2tb WD Caviar Greens a main C drive on a WD Cav Grn 500gb, a 350 and a 125GB Pata,
a dvd/cd/lightscribe drive, a floppy, 1 gb Nvidia Getforce graphics card all on a gigabyte 800ga ddr3/sata3
board with an AMD Phenom II x6 core CPU and 4x4GB (16GB) of Ripjaw DDR3 Memory
sides off and I can HEAR the case fans..or rather the AIR being forced through all the drives stacked at the front
but I swear I cant hear a thing from the PSU at all! had to exhale cigarette smoke behind the machine to make sure
it was doing it's job and pushing air away!!!
Although it's been installed for less than a day (still rebuilding) I must say ...
for the money it's about £100 less than I expected to pay and its a very tidy and smartly built and presented unit
If I had time to get from Amazon (as I usually do) I would've saved a further £14.57 and as you can see from
my listed build spec this PSU really does the task it's supposed to do and well within parameters required.
again as I didn't Buy from Amazon I only hope they permit this post as TIME was a huge factor and I'd hate for others
to waste time seeking info only to run out of time to wait for the delivery from Amazon.
I know I will next time, as I won't need to waste hours trawling all the brands at £150 or £200 plus
