I bought this book for my sons because they love aliens and monsters. The illustrations are wonderful, exactly what I would expect from Nick Butterworth but I found the story a little poor. I dont think I would consider buying this again.

My 4 year old has had this book read to him EVERY night for over a year as he loves it soooo much!

My son chose this book from the library and I have now had to buy it as he wants to read it every night. As other reviewers have said, it is not that interesting for an adult to read but it is a massive hit with my 3 yr old and so I would recommend it highly.

My son loves it but it could be more fun for Mum or Dad
This book is perhaps not one of Nick Butterworth's best (Stories Jesus Told is excellent) but my 3 year old son I am sure will disagree as he cannot get enough of it. Read more
