I read this at school (mumble-fump) years ago and never forgot it. With the distance of (fubble-bupp) years since, I thought I'd get a copy to see if it was still good - and it is. Whilst not a classic, it keeps you interested and raises a smile. I see no reason why future generations shouldn't enjoy it just as much.

A must read even for the nonreader, young and old 24 Oct. 2012
By Mark Tidwell - Published on
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
I first heard this story in my 5th grade class, one page a day. I was sure I had been in this story somehow somewhere. I often thought about it and how I could relive this story again. I was so glad to finally find it.
Thank you to Mrs. Jackson, my teacher, for reading this to the class. I highly recomend it to anyone who has a little imagination and a small amount of time to escape.

Great cat tale 2 Dec. 2006
By Skookum - Published on
This is a great story about the cats of a neighborhood, and their leader, Pyewacket. They hatch a plan to peacefully take the street over from "Their" people. What happens next is quite a story. I recommend it to anyone 8 and up (it's a story for kids, but adults will enjoy it too)

Pyewacket the cat. 23 April 2006
By Thomas Jefferson - Published on
I loved this book. I read it as a kid, hiding in the top of my closet, because my mom was not so nice as she could have been. It is a great kid's story, perfect for an 8 year old. Very good story, good ending, And if you love cats, this is the book for you.
Childhood favorite. 20 Feb. 2015

I loved this book when I was young. While I ordered this book and did not receive it (I was refunded 100%), I definitely recommend this book for young readers or just for the young at heart. Easily fall in love with Pyewacket and reread it over and over again.
