My daughter bought this for her kindle and she loves it. There are many puzzles and games and, whilst it takes a little getting used to the commands / controls, it's very easy to get the hang of.

Grabarchuck Puzzles interactive eBook on Kindle

OK so when I first came across this book ...I was puzzled. How can you select the answers to multiple choice question on an ebook reader like Amazon kindle?

I emailed the author, first intelligence test, I failed. I could not figure out how to use it. Lol... Anyways... it easy there are four boxes, you use the kindle's five way controller, pan left or right and click your selected answer. Der der it works.

OK it's a puzzle book so how complex were the puzzles ? Interesting ? Fun or dull and boring ? I am happy to report good news. They were fun, but the great thing about this app, because that's what it is really.( It's not really a book)... Er What was I saying.. Yes the great thing about this book/app is that you dip in and "do" the puzzles. Note you read a book but do puzzles. I rest my case. So when would you open this up ? On a train... ? Yes... a plane ...Yes. Training your kids to pass intelligence tests ...yes... hang on IQ tests, Well the questions in IQ test are rotating shapes, realising and being aware that a shape, when rotated will or won't fit a hole. Keeping the brain active as you get older... YES. Oh and I tried it on my kindle smart phone app and it was in glorious colour... tablets and ipad, iPhone the user experience will be a fun genuine interactive puzzle game. Exercise for your grey matter... use it or lose. highly recommended... good value

Challenging Group of Puzzles You Can Play on Different Versions of Kindle 11 April 2012

As the title indicates, this contains 101 puzzles for you to solve on your Kindle. I played the game / solved the puzzles on both a Kindle 3 (aka, Kindle Keyboard) as well as a Kindle Fire, and each one had positives and negatives over each other.

Overall, this is an enjoyable compilation of puzzles to try to solve - some are pretty easy, and some are just difficult no matter what your age. I found some of the ones I thought were hard my middle schooler solved with no problems and vice versa.

As the puzzles were originally prepared in color, they are much easier to see and understand the pattern on my Kindle Fire; navigation back and forth was much easier on the Kindle Keyboard as the puzzles were designed to quickly go back and forth using the next and back page keys. My personal preference for trying to solve the puzzles was on the Kindle Fire due to the color factor as well as I tend to use the Kindle Keyboard for reading vs. playing games. Either way, no matter which version of Kindle you use, the puzzles are fun and it will take you some time to get through all 101 puzzles.

I love having these on my Kindle. They are just a great way to pass the time and challenge my brain. I previously devoured Puzzlebook: 100 Puzzle Quizzes (color and interactive!) so I was excited to see another set of puzzles come out so quickly.

They start out easy and progress at a steady rate to puzzles that you probably want a good nights sleep before attempting. Or, if your brain is not working well, just jump to the solution and figure it out backwards.

Like their first set of puzzles, it is easy to navigate using your Kindle controls. The answers are easily accessible and offer some explanation but not always. There are some repetitive styles of puzzles but answering the first one just gives you the benefit of understanding the process, not knowing the answer.

Even though on the Kindle, they are in black and white, this doesn't detract from understanding the puzzle or the fun of completing them.

A great set of well-thought out puzzles ready to challenge even the best puzzler.

The puzzles are challenging and fun as in the previous book (100 Puzzle Quizzes). Moreover, this book contains many examples of my favorite types, 3D volume comparison puzzles and the puzzles that require you to fold the given sheet in your mind to make a 3D object.

This book is definitely the best book on my Kindle. I look forward to see more puzzle books from the Grabarchuk Family on my Kindle and other mobile devices.
