4.0 out of 5 stars A Puzzle a Day - For more advanced maths, 7 Sep 2008
This book contains a wide selection a mathematical puzzles in written form, many of which require some prior knowledge of mathematical terms and shapes, etc.
It is not, in my opinion, suitable for younger mathematicians - I would recommend this book for KS3 level.
Each page (of the 90 pages)contains two similar puzzles - the second of which (the author suggests) can be used at a later date.

3.0 out of 5 stars Useful enough, 9 May 2009

Actually only 90 puzzles, really. Probably suit a reasonably bright and motivated group of students as starters (or fillers). Students with literacy issues would probably struggle with most of them - or need you to explain quite a bit. On the other hand you could use them as a longer activity, I guess.
