5.0 out of 5 stars best nights sleep for years 23 Sep 2007
I had two cervical discs fused together following a work injury, and I was dreading trying to sleep at nights following my operation last year. I paid what I though was rather a lot at the time for this memory pillow, but it turned out to be the wisest investment I could have made. I wouldn't sleep without it now. I'm so impressed that Ive bought one for my mum and one for my wife.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected 3 Mar 2012
By Expat
Had this posted to France (postage horrendous and I think unjustified) as I can't buy here.
I have always suffered with a stiff neck but after having an accident in the garden where I fell on my back this caused even further problems so I thought this pillow might ease things
However, I would not recommend this pillow for anyone who sleeps on their stomach and even with sleeping on my side I still found it increased rather than reduced my neck pain. I think the problem is that instead of a 'bump' which traditional neck pillows have, this one has a sort of ledge with a slight cut out to accommodate the shoulder and even though my head eventually settled down into the memory foam, the bit that is supposed to support the neck went with it so did not provide the support needed! It is also VERY hard until it warms up.
I persevered for about 2 weeks but then gave up as my neck was so stiff in the mornings it was making my neck problem worse not better.
I did consider sending it back but did not want to pay additional postage costs on top of the considerable cost already paid.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product 18 Jun 2011

I spent a long time deciding which pillow I should buy. I am female, average build and have hypermobile joints and suffer with my neck locking at night. I wanted to be able to sleep comfortably on my back or my side. This pillow does take a little bit of getting used to but I would say that it has allowed me to sleep in a good position and it is such a relief to wake up relatively pain free. It feels slightly on the firm side initially but I think that it has to be in order to do its job properly. The memory foam becomes more comfortable as it warms up and the shaping of this pillow is well thought out for both neck and shoulders. It is smaller than a normal pillow but I just fold my pillow case over and it isn't a problem. I have tried other neck pillows and this one is the only one I have really got on well with. I think someone larger would need to go for the deeper sized pillow if you like to sleep on your side.

Definitely helped me to sleep better and wake up with less pain.
Would recommend this pillow to other people who suffer with neck problems.
