A great book - I will hurry to buy Pussy Portraits 2.
Many men love to see pussies and I admit I am one of them. In real life, the number is somewhat limited, but this book opens up a whole new perspective. So many focused close-up photos, all individual, not at all repetitive, all beautiful in their own way, mostly without pubic hair (of course you see the lips better, but it is less natural in my view), a few with piercings. This book will join the few good books on the subject I own: "Femalia" (Joani Blank), "Petals (Nick Karras) and from an art perspective "Yoni Portraits" (Christina Camphausen).

The most shocking bit is the cover: Shocking Pink. The approach is simple, portrait left, pussy right. And it provides a nice way to spend time trying to find clues in one page informing you about the other and vice versa. Occasionally I get the impression eyebrows, eyes, nose, lips and the shape of the smile give some hints. And I get the idea makeup some times seems to have been applied in such a way that it helps to sustain this perceived link. However, for me it quickly becomes a bit boring and I haven't really spent much time with the portrait book apart from immediately after I received it. Perhaps because it is never really erotic?
On balance: Certainly a good book for satisfying your more shallow interests, but expensive for what you get.

The idea is a great one. However, I must court controversy and say that too many of the labia displayed here are remarkably ugly. Some look particularly unhealthy.
Well the women, as the book says, have been chosen simply for their willingness to take part and not for their beauty. And it shows.
Of course the pussy when photographed like this may not be the most beautiful subject. Maybe I've been lucky or have good taste if you'll excuse the pun, but I wouldnt go near most of these specimens! Labia are truly remarkable in the sheer variety of types, shapes, sizes, colours and textures. Some are very beautiful, some are neat, some mysterious, some truly deserve the name vulva. Some look like they survive on a diet of mcdonalds and suffer from unknown diseases.
And if youre going to shave please dont leave stubble everywhere!
What I hoped would be a source of conversation and laughter when left on the coffee table, I wouldnt want to inflict on my guests at all in case they lost their appetite..
