Product Description

Essential reading for the cat about town, Pussy goes where no cat mag has gone before. Including: 100 things you never knew about goldfish; great dustbins of our time; 1000 reasons why dogs are stupid; Catnip - the shocking truth; and much, much more...Pussy - because you love it. The authors of "Pussy" are Tom, Fluffy, Tashi and Puss De Wuss. They have - known each other since fighting over a fish head outside the chippy when they were kittens. Recognised for their work all over Big Town, design duo Tom and Fluffy were previously responsible for the radical overhaul of the garden fence at Number 53 and the look of the controversial arts quarterly "Shut Your Bloody Catflap". Editorial experts Tashi and Puss De Wuss are meanwhile best known for their pioneering series of articles on poo and wee - in "It Smells Magazine", for which they won the Dommity Wommity Award for "Irresponsible and Largely Stupid Journalism". Tom, Fluffy and Puss De Wuss are all three years old. Tashi is four.

From the Back Cover

Essential reading for the cat about town, Pussy boldly goes where no cat mag has gone before. In this issue, we explore the real issues for today's feline, including...
· 33 things you never knew about goldfish - they are made out of fish and they aren't made out of gold
· Great dustbins of our time, including the wheelie bin challenge
· 1000 reasons why dogs are stupid (part 82). Barking? Too bloody right...
· Catnip - the shocking truth about this terrifying drug craze (and how you can get more)
· Killer Dog - the story of infamous serial killer Spike. Was he guilty or innocent? Frankly we're not too bothered (see above)
And of course there's much more besides, including a steamy all-new full-frontal shoot with Millie, that minx who won the cat show, and Dixie, the southern babe who'll leave you purring for more.
Pussy - because you love it!

As an owners of two cats, this book was a great find. Whoever said that cats don't have traits obviously don't own any!

This books is very funny, and is a great read as it's style is similar to a lads-mag and thus doesn't have long articles! Another thing I love about this book is the spoof adverts that the author has changed to fit Pussy. The Sky advert is genius. Also the photography in the book is perfect for the genre it is spoofing.

Overall an excellent book that you will dip in and out for ages!

If you own or like cats - buy it!

Hilarious! 30 Sep 2004
By A Customer
I just bought this as a Christmas present and now wish I'd got myself a copy! It's pretty funny! For anybody to appreciates humour or just loves cats. It's set out like a men's magazine with cat-related articles inside, including "People: A User's Guide", and "Sleep: Is 18 hours a day really enough?" It also has advertisements (based on human ads, but made feline). Perfect for a good chuckle. And the cat might enjoy it, too!

Fabulous! 5 Jan 2005
I was given this at Xmas and I have never laughed so much at a book for a long time. For any cat-lover this is a must (unless you're a repressed recluse who can't bear to read the odd f-word). You can really believe it is written by our beloved felines. The article "My Best Friend Was A Dog" sums up the humour here perfectly; ending on tragic twist with his best friend having been put down the cat in question ends the story with "It was a while ago now. I can't remember. Actually I don't really care". Read it and weep.
