I love the kinect and love playing games that use it. So the idea of playing as the lovable and oh so cute character puss in boots really appealed. I have to say it didn't disappoint, then again my expectations were not very high. As per usual with games designed around movies it did veer from the movie and didn't have as much in common as I would have expected. I actually like this though. I think it makes it less predictable and allows more things to happen in the game. Considering I think it was aimed at a younger audience ( I still loved to play it because it is easy) the graphics were actually really good. Nice job on the fur, and even the 2d story parts were amusing.
You do need to give yourself a bit of space if your going to play properly. The movements to get repetitive along with the enemies you defeat but I think this would remain fun for kids. I can't see much replay fun in there but If you really like the character then its going to remain fun.
The missions are actually good, they make sense, run well and aren't too complicated. You aren't going to be sat trying to figure it out for hours but there are some challenging elements.
Overall I think it is quite entertaining. Although it is quick to finish children may find it takes a bit longer. Its a good contending game for the kinect but it doesn't really have much of a replay factor.
