Inspiring true stories and practical spirituality!,

The co-author of The Celestine Prophecy Experiential Guide has put together this excellent collection of suggestions, ideas and true life stories to inspire one to find one's higher purpose, and a jolly good job it does! It is interesting, well-written and entertaining throughout, with each chapter finishing with a few straightforward questions and exercises to move you on in the right direction. Part three, "deep water", deals masterfully with the darker and more difficult experiences one sometimes has while trying to connect more deeply with the soul's purpose.A major theme is developing an awareness of synchronicity (meaningful co-incidence) experiences as guiding posts for deeper personal development. There are a large number of interviews with people from a wide range of backgrounds, all of whom have come to find their unique purpose through such ideas. Quotes from the famous such as the Dalai Lama and Frank Zappa (!), and not so famous are also highlighted throughout the text e.g."intuition is the creative, universal intention expressing through you" and "either I am lost, crazy and screwed up, or I am found and on a difficult part of the path". I found the chapter on "the void" particularly supportive, especially the section on "holding your centre during confusion, chaos and fear". Carol Adrienne is not afraid to explore the sometimes harsh realities of the spiritual journey, but the book is essentially upbeat and positively inspirational.

Very Helpful Book - More than I expected.,

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this book, but I knew I needed some sort of guidance as I was all confused about what the heck I am doing and want to do. The book does not tell you that you should be a doctor or a lawyer or whatever. What is does is help you see the bigger picture of your purpose and learn to identify, understand and follow those ideas and feelings that you get (intuitions), which will lead you to true happiness. It does have some religious and spiritual "messages", but not overwhelmingly so. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but if you have an open mind and are willing to listen and give it a try, it can be very valuable.

If your searching for your purpose this is the book to read!,

During an important life change I followed my intuition into a bookshop where this book literally "fell out and hit me", and the title was the question I was asking. As with all spiritual journeys, if one is open to the support of the universe and can accept and follow one's intuition, these synchronicities are part of daily living. We are all one, and within this title is the holism of the book. What else could it be called? Maybe it was written just for me, so that I would recognise it when I saw it, even though I was consciously unaware of what I was looking for, and that feeling stays with you through the journey. You feel you are part of it, not just reading other peoples case histories, as you search for clues to your own problems. As with all books of this nature it has it's own unique vibration which you resonate to if it is the right time for you to receive the wisdom. For me writing this review is the out-picturing of some of my workouts from using the guidance of the book. The universe presents you with an opportunity to use or ignore. This review thrills me to do. To use this opportunity to write something good about something which brought good into my life. It is a good read, a good journey for your self- empowerment let alone finding the way to self express the title on a daily basis. Taking notice of the inner voice to guide you through life is easy once you know how to do it. This book gives philosophy in an easy to understand way, and the mental exercises, which I usually turn away from in many books, hold your attention and somehow encourage you to use them. I enjoyed it so much, before passing it on to friends I am going to read it all over again. That is a compliment indeed!
