This is incredibly good value. Had it a few months. Pulled my satnav in and out nearly every day. Very durable; still as good as new. Nice leather. Firm, but easy, invisible magnetic catch for the flap.

This case holds a TomTom wide screen sat nav, but you have to remove the mounting attachment and there is no room in the case for cabling etc - it just holds the sat nav itself (but this is all it is advertised to do, so I'm not complaining). I have bought one of these and I also have a bigger case that holds the sat nav with mounting kit plus cables etc. This one is more useful if I park somewhere and I have to carry the sat nav around, as it is small enough to fit easily into a bag, and I leave the cables etc in the car (out of sight of course). The larger case has the advantage of being able to keep everything tidy in one place, for instance if you are taking the unit indoors and you don't have to carry it around.
This is made of a fairly tough plastic, although it is flexible and wouldn't protect the unit from a serious impact or being dropped a long way. But as I would only really use this to store the sat nav inside a larger bag or rucksack this isn't really an issue. Again, I would use my other, larger case if more protection was needed.
So, I would recommend this case, but I believe it complements a bigger case rather than being an alternative.

Real shame about this. It is a really nice looking product and looks high quality but sadly it did not fit my widescreen Satnav (a Garmin Nuvi 1490T).
The description (still current at the time of writing) says "tested with all Tomtom / Garmin / Navman / Mio satellite navigation systems" and does not give any measurements - so I went ahead despite my device not being specifically listed.
So it loses two stars for a (I am sure not intentionally) misleading description - it does NOT fit "all . . . Garmin . . . satellite navigation systems", and there were no proper measurements on the screen.
BUT - if it fitted, I'd happily agree with the other two 5-star reviews. It is excellent value - so long as you have one of the smaller devices.

Puregadgets Widescreen sat nav case
The case is an excellent fit for my Tomtom Go 750 live. I can now remove it from the car without any fear of damaging the screen whilst it is in my coat pocket.

Fine for money
Quite a nice case though little disappointed as I'm pretty sure it's not real leather. Fine considering the cost though.

Protects well
Protects my satnav really well, it's a bit loose fitting, yet it doesn't allow room for any cables. That said it isn't meant to fit exactly as it is more of a general purpose one. Read more

Fit for Purpose
This is a very basic item, but fits it's purpose perfectly adequately. Fair for the price, and will prevent scratching of the Tom-Tom screen.
