Open the box and I'm thinking this is too small to be any use.

Nope, it heats up pretty fast, feeds well and while it does drip, I've yet to come across any cheap glue gun that doesn't.

So I got to gluing things, since it came with 50 sticks I got a bit excited, gluing this to that, enjoying the fact that hot glue is utterly indifferent to material, it just sticks it together...

The short cable hampered my adventures at first but the minute I pulled an extension cord out I should have realised I was in trouble. It can get anywhere, there's no nook or cranny I can't glue things to other things in.

After a harrowing experience attempting to glue the hole in my pocket shut, succeeding in part, though burning my leg and attaching the pocket to it in the process I decided to calm down; Once in a more stable mindset I drew my mini glue gun from its holster (unnecessary due to built in stand) and used it to make some beautiful crafts.

Now I sell crafts, like my bejewelled line of cheap disposable lighters at fairs, my insatiable need to affix things to others and I'm rich.

Pros:
- Small
- Fast heating
- Leads to revelatory life changes

Cons:
- Can't glue things to itself
- Drips
- Hot glue is burny

I'd never used a hot melt glue gun before and had been reccommended to use this particular one, from a friend in the Toyota Estima Owners Club ( TEOC ). A cubby hole box/coin tray I had removed from my 2000 Estima Aeras had accidently broken the plastic lugs holding it in place. I'd tried super glue but the lugs, just broke again.

This time I used this hot melt glue gun, worked well and fixed the problem. I just had to file off the excess glue a bit. I'd never have believed it would work. The kit came complete with 50 sticks of glue, that means they are going to last a very long time.

Down side, there were no instructions in the plain white cardboard box, to say the temperature it would heat up to, how long it took to heat up, or how to load the glue sticks ( well that bit looked self explainitry, stick glue stick in hole ). No warning that the metal tip of gun would get quite warm. Yes it did dribble glue a bit, when you did not want it to. Just do not use your good furniture to do the work on. I used a tray.

I guess once the glue stick is in the gun, you do not remove it when you turn it off, just push up another stick behind the first one, when you need more. It cools down pretty quickly when turned off.

I.m very pleased with it and I too would reccommend this to others.

Warms up very quickly, is easy to use and does not leak glue. The 50 glue sticks that come with it fit it perfectly.

A well needed item for the craft work I was doing, but I can't put it down. It's been thru the mill and well used. The seller described this to a T and it came with a few glue sticks well worth the price. A lovely bit of gadget.

A fantastic price, the glue sticks can cost as much alone. This gun is very handy and has been put to good use repairing a radio controlled model aircraft which took a dive.

Fantastic little glue gun with a small stand, it gets up to temperature very quickly and the glue is ejected at a good pace i.e. it doesn't flood out nor does it trickle out. Incredibly good value considering they include 50 glue sticks which believe me can cost just as much on their own. This has replaced most of the different glues i use to use around the house and it hasn't let me down yet with it working on all plastics and wood that i have used it on!

As one example which i used it for last week, one of the brackets holding a kitchen cabinet door up had come lose out of the wood, i used the glue included with this gun and bonded the bracket back into the existing hole, i left it a few hours to make sure it had fully gone off and then came back to find the bracket was rock solid.

Recommended!

It works, simple as that. First glue gun I have bought so nothing to compare it with but for the few jobs I have used it on it's good.
