A lot of people have criticised this album for being too 'housey' or not having enough of the underground anthems on it. I disagree. If you want anthems go and buy a commercial 'speed garage' album. This is the true sound of the underground mixed by the best Garage DJ in the country....

Pure silk is a essential selection of the most popular garage tunes to reach the dance floor in the last 6 months... Mixed by Carl "Tuff Enuff" Brown! Go get it before your freinds do!!

This CD box is fantastic. The mixing is of the usual staandard you would expect and it includes all the tunes that everyone loves and knows. However, half way through it tends to become more of a house vibe. Pure Silk should be a CD dedicated to just Garage. This spoils the CD as the garage tunes are easier to listen to than house. Afterall, you are listening to it at home, in your car or in your walkman. You aren't in a cluband so the house is too heavy. It spoils the CD. Apart from that it is wicked and I recommend it to anyone who is into garage and the clubbing scene!
