He found sport and Fitness World Records as a way out from possibly spending time at her Majesty's pleasure. Pure Grit will give a magnificent insight into how he achieved so many tough world records, and how he dealt with those who crossed, and challenged him throughout his life.
About the Author
Since the age of 8 yrs of age, he was introduced to Judo competing at junior level, winning bronze and silver medals at numerous Midlands judo championships. Coming from a broken home made him more determined and hungry to succeed. Any sport which he took up he always gave 100% winning more medals. His aggression was channelled through sport however he was still getting into trouble with law. The Parachute Regiment and the thought of breaking Fitness and Endurance Records, made Paddy more focused, wanting to be the Worlds number I. Since May 1987 he has clocked up a career total of 172. Course, Regional, National, British, European World strength speed stamina records; 1,940 back of bands push ups in 1 hour, 29,850 full contact punches in 1 hour, 932 sit ups carrying 50 lbs weight on chest in 30 minutes, 1,500,230 push ups in a calender year averaging 4000 per day. Pure Grit exposes the true Paddy Doyle, his fallouts with his fellow competitors, his toughest and most demanding World Fitness Endurance Records, and what makes him tick mentally.
