5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent hi-fi - especially for recordings, 2 Feb 2007

This review is from: Pure DMX60 Micro System With Single CD, DAB & FM, & SD Card Slot With ReVu & EPG (Electronics)
I bought this about 3 weeks ago, and it has instantly become indispensible. If you have ever thought to yourself "that radio show sounds really interesting, but I won't be in to hear it", or "I'd love to be able to keep a copy of that radio programme", this is the hi-fi for you. You can very easily set it to record anything onto the SD card to listen to later, or transfer it from the SD card onto your PC and then to CD. And for just over £200! Sound quality is good, radio reception is good, very easy to use, looks good ... superb!

5.0 out of 5 stars How to get rid of the "buzz", 30 Sep 2007
This review is from: Pure DMX60 Micro System With Single CD, DAB & FM, & SD Card Slot With ReVu & EPG (Electronics)
One other customer mentioned that this unit made an annoying "buzz". I experienced something more like a faint hum - imperceptable during the day, but clearly evident at night - especially when trying to sleep.

The solution? A small rubber washer under the edge of one side of the unit put an end to the vibration and provided complete silence.

So if the hum is bugging you, don't get rid of the unit - it's a marvellous audio system. Just splash out 5p on a small piece of rubbber...

1.0 out of 5 stars Dont buy this unit, 15 July 2009
By
This review is from: Pure DMX60 Micro System With Single CD, DAB & FM, & SD Card Slot With ReVu & EPG (Electronics)
My CD has started skipping after just over 2 years and the preset lose their settings when it is turned off.. A trawl of the internet shows CD skipping is not uncommon with one person apparently on their fourth unit. Pure have declined to help and their suggested repairer will not look at it. So it goes into the bin.
