I bought this dvd as I had seen the film 'Honeysuckle Rose' years ago and really liked Willie Nelson and Dianne Cannon together. Their duet of the song 'loving you was easier' is a classic. I was pleasantly surprised by the other film on the dvd which I had not even bothered to read about. It is called 'Pure Country' and it is full of good country music and is an enjoyable watch. The only problem is that there were no subtitles on 'Honeysuckle Rose' possibly because it is such an old film, nevertheless I feel I got my momeys worth with this dvd, a must for dedicated country music fans.
Really enjoyed Honeysuckle Rose, good story, good music but DVD wouldn't play the other film so I can only give half a review
Great DVD been looking to get both these films on DVD for ages..... Thanks very much.
