I have recently purchased the Pure One flow internet radio and saw that the Pure E1 chargepak was going from £31 - £40 on various websites. Bought this one, installed it and it worked straight away. Just saved myself quite a few quid for the same difference. Decided to recharge after 15 hours of continuous use, no problems.

I was reluctant to buy this at first as it wasn't the Pure original. However, it works a treat no difference. I recently purchased the new Pure Evoke 2s this battery works perfectly with it.

Yes, the battery works fine for a few months, but then failed completely. Now it appears to be charging but won't hold any charge at all. It is very pricey for a copy too.
Bear in mind if you are buying an Evoke Flow it is pretty flakey. It takes over a minute just to turn on, is very fussy about whether it will or won't hook up to the internet or a computer - some days will, some days won't, and has a number of other shortcomings, e.g. it won't work as a wake-up alarm unless plugged into the mains. Too much tech, not enough refinement!

PAK E1 replacement
This replacement rechargeable battery seems to function much better than the original. It was bought for the Pure Evoke Flow and at full charge lasts about four hours.

Once you have got over the fact that you should have got a battery with your Pure, Evoke DAB radio you go to the pure website and see the crazy price that they want for a battery. Read more

Works fine for me
I have had this battery for almost a year and it has worked fine up to now. I did find it more fiddly to fit than I expected but it was OK in the end. Read more

didn't work
I put this battery into my Pure Evoke-1s radio and it didn't really seem to fit properly and nothing happened! Simply wasn't compatible or was a dodgy one.. Read more
