Product Description

2 x 100% Premium Quality Beeswax blocks, made from Extremely high quality natural wax which retains it's natural scent and qualities. This premium quality English beeswax comes fresh from our refinery - forget the middleman and pay a great price for a great product. Beeswax has many uses both around the home and in professional situations as well, for example: Polishing Furniture and shoes to give them a shiny quality finish When burnt, Beeswax releases negative ions - these attract particles of dust and leave a cleaner breathing environment. Adding to candles to increase their burning temperature, therefore making them burn for longer Used as a preservative and a finish on metals such as iron and brass Used on stone and wooden flooring as a polish and a preservative - it can also be used in the cracks as a sealant Beeswax is also used as a bullet lube - being a shooter myself I've tried this and found it leaves the barrel much cleaner, whilst significantly increasing muzzle velocity - there are plenty of guides on the internet on how to make your own. Fancy making your own crayons? Again, Beeswax is a likely ingredient, with plenty of guides to show you how it's done on the internet. Beeswax is used on the cracked hooves of animals such as horses. Beeswax is used on ropes to reduce friction if the rope is being pulled whilst in contact with another surface. With Beeswax you can make your own home made earplugs - just follow guides on the internet and produce an earplug which fits perfectly into your ear through it's excellent mouldability. Beeswax was used as a major ingredient in paintings to achieve the right colour Used on leather to help waterproof it (for example horse saddles / tack or leather shoes) - These are just a few of the many uses of Beeswax, a material that is really, quite extroadinary! When holding these two blocks, just remember that collectivly, bees have travelled 20,000 miles to produce them!

This review is from: Pure Bees Wax Blocks Beeswax - 2 x 1 oz blocks
Beeswax is a very useful item and often unappreciated. It makes sewing stiff thread much easier and the thread lasts longer. Apply it to screwthreads and the screw or bolt, slips easily into place. Used with countersunk wood screws, there is often no need to do any countersinking before hand, saving a lot of time. There is also a handy preservative element. Shave some into hot milk to make a polish and use it on either wood or leather.
These blocks are desirably soft and clean. The best I've had.
