My two children - aged 3 and 5 - love this toy. They wanted a real puppy - which was out of the question. But this little dog absolutely did the trick (minus the mess and the walking duties!). They adore the interaction and the growing spurts are magical to them. They also love bringing it back down to size so that it can be a puppy again.

The batteries are still working fine after 3 months which is pretty good going considering how much it's been played with.

An ideal toy - it satisfies all the things kids want from a pet without the hassle parents dread!

Battery life runs out quite quickly, and I am not sure it has ever grown to the full size. 3 year old got quite bored quite quickly. Over priced.
