Where do I begin? Not only does this film start off completely predictable, in the first few minutes It almost has every cliche in the book. I'm not even going to begin listing them, see for yourself if you dare to watch this. It has the standards and special effects of a television film, or infact a student film uploaded onto YouTube. Even that's insulting, i've seen better special FX in student films made entirely on an extremely low budget!

Anyways enough of that let's move onto the acting. Good grief, it's bad, I almost gave up hope two minutes in as it started, it's like a childrens film with an utterly cheesy soundtrack and a little gore albeit the fact hardly any is to be seen. It says clearly on the back of the case "Main feature rated 15, some content within the additional features have resulted in this product achieving an 18 certificate." Never mind 15 rated, should've been a 12!

So, I built up some courage to bring myself to finally watch this, and was hoping Corey Feldman would save it, but guess what? He certainly did nothing of the sort, infact is it possible to say he made it worse? Well no, he didn't make it any worse than it could've been.

I'm not going to discuss any revealing plot details since I struggle to find any actual storyline or plot involved in this. It's just cringe inducingly awful, appaling at most. Don't get me wrong I love many horror films, all the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's retro all time classics. I especially adore killer doll themed films like Child's Play, which was made in 1988 and still looks outstanding and hardly laughable compared to this complete obstrocity made in 2004! Yes, 2004, don't even get me started.

Okay, I am a fan of the previous movies except Curse of..that sucked! Corey Feldman is always quality in movies he brings a certain element to this movie which is both funny and really nothing like the previous movies. With the exception of the demon in this movie this really isnt scary nor does it try to be it is funny on the level of Gremlins, the puppets are almost loveable!!! hows this? Puppet Master was harsh this is really not, the FX arent as impressive as the stop motion animation of the previous movie but I must confess I did enjoy this movie, guilty pleasure but it made me smile and laugh. I do recommend this movie to those who enjoy humor and who are fans of the previous movies I wouldnt recommend this to anyone who wants balls out horror. There is non here.

This should have been a good movie as it mixes fullmoon pictures two biggest franchises together, but unfortunately it doesn't really hit the spot. There is some good puppet work going on but it lacks a decent story, the acting is VERY poor, the effects are terrible. This movie just kills two birds with one stone.
