The price and the delivery on this item were excellent and worth five stars.
The book itself was rather disappointing, and having owned a number of Haynes manuals in the past, I have to say this is the first one that has disappointed me.
The photographs and instructions are very basic, and it's a relatively thin manual compared to others that I own. The coverage of topics is brief and sketchy.
At the Amazon price I'm not dissatisfied with the value, but if I had paid full retail price, then I would have been.

If you need to or just want to know more about your Punto with pictures, then get this manual. It covers the petrol engines, 1242cc 8v & 16v (and the HGT I think). Basic information such as weekly checks and what should get done in services, as well as the usual Haynes guides on doing many different things to you car (you know, like changing your brake disks). All specific to the Punto Mk2.
It's not perfect, but then for the money and size I don't see how it could be. Some things wont be covered, but most common things are, and even if you never put the info to use yourself, it's good to know that you can reference it should you get a problem and understand what a mechanic would need to do.
the book arrived on time, it was well packaged. the book was good value for money and a great present for my son who had just bought a Fiat Punto that needed work to it!

Typical Haynes
Good manual to get you going. As is typical with newer Hayenes manuals there isn't as much detail as in older ones but it's still ok for most DIY needs.

Fiat Punto service and repair
We had lost the service book for our Fiat Punto. So when we sold the car we bought the book for the new owner. he was delighted with it.

Not 100% comprehensive but good value
I bought this to change the gearbox in my MK 2 Punto and it went without a hitch. I would not have liked to tackle that without a manual given the number hidden bolts etc. Read more
