About the Author
Julie Hickey worked as a secretary and administrator until she discovered rubber stamping and papercrafts. She loves paper with all its different colours, patterns and textures and now demonstrates stamping, card making and related techniques regularly to an eager audience. She writes articles for popular craft magazines and travels to major craft shows and exhibitions looking for products and new ways of working with them, enjoying the challenge of a blank piece of card or paper.

I found Julie's approach to creating with craft punches truly inspiring.
Like many many other paper crafters I have acquired a large number of craft punches that just lay idle. I am full of good intentions when I buy them but somehow the minute they are added to my collection all my ideas just fly out the window!
Julie has inspired me to get them all out again and get punching!
A lovely book Julie and I am looking forward to your next one, (published by David & Charles in 2004 if I am correct).

Here is a book you will not only enjoy looking at you will also be able to follow the clear step by step instructions within. Julie Hickey has once again truimphed with a well put together and well priced book.
The book has pleanty of lovely photographs which show Julies handywork off beautifully.
This book is full of inspiration and shows just how effective a paper punch can be!!
I would highly recommend this book to a beginner and also the more practised crafter - you won't be disappointed.
