I realise these are punchbag hooks but I've been looking for an item like this to hang a hammock from a wooden structure in my back garden. The product looks sturdy and the finish is of a very high standard, and true enough are the perfect solution what I bought them for. I am not the smallest person, weighing in at over 100Kg but these take my weight without even a creak!! All i need now is some good weather and i'm all set for a good summer!!

Somewhat ludicrous to review a ceiling hook - but as it happens this item was useful. I originally hung the punchbag with a 5 inch screw into a joist, but it came down, I think after being whirled around. This hook with its double screw fitting stops that happening - though the screws supplied were only about 2 ins, so way insufficient in my view - I bought longer ones, and I have full confidence in it.
