Behind the times as usual, I only just "discovered" this track after hearing it on the radio a few times and asking someone cooler than me what it was. I was surprised to find out it was actually first released in late 2010 - where have I been!
The song itself is so amazingly catchy, with an upbeat tune, cheery vocals and an easily remembered chorus. Look a little deeper though and you will find the lyrics are actually pretty dark. I love when musicians do this, it makes for a complex listening experience.
Regardless of if you like the lyrics, this is a gorgeous sounding indie-pop tune which I am glad I now have in my collection.
