Pretty good for urban usage and commutes, not worth the current price however (£45)

I had this bag in the black Friday deals for less than half the price in the title. It was delivered in a really large box, kind of unnecessary.
On first impressions it looks pretty good. It's a sort of retro, urban/sports lifestyle look in a crosshatched grey. The bag itself has an inner and outer lining. The inner is black. It's quite a large capacity, and has a dedicated laptop sleeve that comfortably holds a 15.6" laptop. The padding for it could stand to be be better reinforced, however it is adequate for normal usage. There is plenty of room in there for books etc... and some zip compartments for smaller items.
The two outer pockets are an ok size, and will fit a 500ml bottle top to bottom for reference. The one thing I would change about them is that I would have the zips open the other way, so that it's easier to access them if you are wearing the backpack. the top cover is fine, but the drawstring seems like it might not stand up to much. The top cover straps down with a singular clip attachment and I feel like it's not the sturdiest thing and might benefit from two of these.
The straps are comfortable and they seem a bit sturdier, the bag is comfortable enough with a heavy load. The outer material of the bag is perhaps water resistant but I don't think it would stand up to much heavier rain.
I think this bag is decent for "urban" use and as an everyday backpack, but I wouldn't pay the asking price. I also don't think it would be suitable for people looking for a "tough" or hard-wearing backpack. Overall pretty good, just not worth the price tag.
