I brought this set up for my son for use with his drums and so he could link up with his mates. It is much better than I expected and the sound is really good. His drums are clear and bright with base full and solid. He plays MP3 music from an SD card and then drums along which sounds top notch. I would say that for a small venue you could cope with just this. It would also be a great backup for anyone who has larger kit for those emergency situations when something goes wrong. It is well built, well thought out and a real gem. Well worth the money.
