    This kettle looks lovely. It is light and the handle is well placed so that it is balanced whilst filling, but you don't get scalded by steam if filling soon after it has previously boiled (something that the dome style kettles are bad for).

    It is slightly noisy, but on the other hand it is very quick to boil. The base comes with storage for the cord so you don't have power leads on your worktop. It is also quite a large capacity for a "squat" kettle. I would definitely recommend this product.

    I bought this kettle in November 2008 from Amazon, and it wss faulty when it arrived. The on / off switch was set off to a strange angle, and the switch wasn't working properly at all. NB. the packaging it came in was perfectly intact, so I presume Breville have a production / Quality Assurance problem at their factory.

    The replacement Amazon sent out also had a faulty switch, but it leaked over the switch as well. I receieved a refund, and purchased another Breville kettle from another supplier through Amazon which was perfectly fine.

    We first seen this product in a local shop and almost bought it, but decided to try amazon first. It was over £10 cheaper for the same kettle, so that was great value. We are very pleased with it. It arrived promptly and the design is sleek and the boil time is very quick. All in all, an excellent purchase! I would recommend it to anyone.
