Welcome aboard the Black Pig for another exciting adventure with Captain Pugwash and his loyal crew. Product Description

The stories are wonderfully told: simple, clear language that stays on course... and of course the illustrations are so enduringly distinctive, with Pugwash of the late Pavarotti-like proportions. (Book Magazine )

Pugwash Aloft (Captain Pugwash)
All 'Pugwash' tells the same tale where youth saves the powerful old buffers, who are dangerously useless, while the old continue to use the system they erect around themselves to appropriate credit where it is not due and dispense blame from their crass mistakes to innocent youth. In the Pugwash stories Tom the cabin boy does for both real hero and undeserved scapegoat, Pugwash is the bumbling buffer.
The model does for school, army, politics in fact everywhere you look - even when there is no age difference! Hence the appeal.
