We will be going to Puglia later this year and have found this guide very useful in planning our visit. We have already drawn up a shortlist of places we want to visit while there with plenty more to chose from. I would recommend this book for anyone intending to visit Puglia.

For our first visit to Puglia we were looking for a guide book. I only found two and this was by far and away our favourite. The book is informative and has a number of colourful pictures to give a feel for the area. By contrast the alternative Lonely Planet book has more information but its lack of colour and pictures makes it as interesting as reading a telephone directory.
