This is a must read for any new magazine publisher. Lorraine does a great job of detailing out a lot of the processes needed to launch a magazine which will save you both time and money.

I can't believe how helpful this book has been. It is crammed with sensible, easy to achieve ideas and has really helped me jump forward in my planning.
What it doesn't do is help you layout your magazine or cover any of the writing/image/photography basics, but then you should be in full control of those by now if you are planning a mag. It is more about the thought processes, dealing with outside agencies and having a good system in place to realise your artistic vision.
Highly recommended.
