It's just a picture book, no design info.

This book's title would lead you to expect that you were going to get design information that would be useful to designing a public toilet. Unfortunately, it is nothing more then a color picture book of restrooms. If all you are looking for is a nice collection of photos of toilet facilities, restrooms or bathrooms, which ever you care to refer to the room as, you will get that. However, don't expect, as I did, to find any useful guidance to select fixtures, plan traffic flow patterns, layout dimensions or anything else of a technical nature like plumbing, lighting, or materials to really design a facility -- it just isn't there and I feel the book is mis-titled.

while the majority of the WC shown here were created with a substantial budget, Public Toilet Design demonstrates a wide variety of styles and settings that can be inspiring (if you can imagine a public toilet being inspiring) for anyone in the design profession.
