Having just received this book in the post and having flicked through it, I am looking forward to being able to read it properly soon. As one would expect of Dale Carnegie's work, the content looks excellent -- useful and engaging. However, this version, published by BN Publishing in 2007, is not the one to buy. It is littered with misprints and reads as though it has been compiled from a previous edition by an Optical Character Recognition scanner. I cannot believe that some of the errors I have noticed would have been made by Dale Carnegie himself; for example, one paragraph compels the reader to "practice, PRACTISE!" A large proportion of the text in this book is devoted to doing away with such grammatical errors and inconsistencies. Elsewhere, the letter 'l' is replaced with the number '1', 'd' with the letters 'cl', 'm' with 'rn', and some letters are emboldened at random.
In summary, Dale Carnegie is an excellent author and you should read his works if you haven't done so already. Do the content of this book justice by finding a better version, printed by a more careful company.
