Product Description

Product Description

Throughout history, throughout most of the world, psychopaths have received a bad rap. That is quite understandable since almost all of the world's religious and social philosophies have little use for the individual except as a tool to be placed in service to their notion of something else: "God" or the "collective" or the "higher good" or some other equally undefinable term. Only rarely, such as in Zen and Tibetan Buddhism, and some school of Existentialism, is the individual considered primal. Here, finally, is a book which celebrates, encourages and educates the best part of ourselves -- the Psychopath.

Fear is a good thing 20 Mar 2004
By BenjNH2
Format:Paperback
Summary: Disturbing. Ingenious. Magical. Buy it.

I have to be honest; I'm feeling very ambivalent regarding this book. I'm not sure if it's a masterpiece of self-empowerment, a cynical pile of literary terrorism or simply a big fat joke played on all the people stupid enough to spend their money on it (like me).

The Psychopath's Bible is just that; sound advice for people who aren't too concerned with ethics. It's a manual on how to get what you want. It contains advice on how to analyse and deconstruct yourself, on how to analyse others, and on how to use this for whatever you want. And how to make them thank you for it. It isn't evil, deranged or satanical, it's simply practical. So practical that it's scary.

Several time while reading it, I got the terrible feeling; 'what if I changed into that? What if I used this, looked at the world like this? What would I be able to achieve?'
To be honest, I'm terrified of what I might do. That I might do everything I ever wanted to. Nothing is more scary than that.

In the end, there's really only one thing to do. Get this book. It is deeply troubling to read, it has got me questioning things I took for granted, and I feel richer because of it.

If you have Narcissistic Personality Disorder, you will enjoy this book as it is written by someone with psychopathy for someone with psychopathy. It will actually describe what you already are: Twisted, heartless, paranoid, ruthless, immoral and delusionally self righteous. Also suitable for people with Antisocial Personality Disorder, Histrionic Personality Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder.

Delusional waffle 22 Oct 2010
Format:Paperback
I enjoyed CS Hyatt's other books and I'm a magickian so thought I would appreciate this book. However, it is nothing more than delusional and quite juvenile waffle. There is nothing practical or of use in this book which I had hoped and the rantings are nothing revolutionary. It sells itself on being 'dangerous' but it reads like a 15 year old boys diary who has just watched Fight Club and it made them think 'Yeh man, right on! I'm not one of societies sheep!'I don't need a book to tell me how to think for myself, neither do you.

Hmmm
The book was indeed enlightning, but the acutal thing about 'Psychopaths' is that they use the most.....oldest pieces of our brain, I reccomend it to read, but not to follow.
