A biker gang, The Living Dead cause mayhem through British towns,pubs and motorways. Theres one problem, they really are the living dead having all killed themselves in various elaborate ways in order to join their gang leader(Nicky Henson) in immortality. Very funny, with an excellent soundtrack, Beryl Reid(who gets turned into a frog) and George Sanders as the sinister ShadwelL
A great example of British Horror, with it's tongue firmly in cheek. Check it out you won't be dissapointed

This is in my top ten favourite films, in the 'So bad it's great' category. I won't spill out the plot, but you'll love the mess of satanic frog-worshipping twee Britishness, suicide-fixated and hilariously well-spoken biker-gang, Beryl Reid's gigantic bust, Nicky Henson's leatherclad smirking, and limitless cheesy chaos wrecked throughout the Surrey Greenbelt. There's also a great Psyched-Prog soundtrack with a cheesy-folk biker-suicide song thrown in too. Get your mates in, crack open the beers, unpeel the pizzas and enjoy!

You know it doesn't matter that the death scenes are ludicrous, that the police are useless and that exploding lorries seem to just burst into balls of fire with no real catalyst, this is a class piece of UK horror. Great concept, mark my words someone will pick it up and run with a remake. I love the soundtrack, just so distinctive and I just found it was released on CD.
I believe that in the states the film may be in the public domain, I wonder if that is true here in the UK, as it is certainly available through limited channels.
