As a lecturer in psychology I have found this book invaluable as a recommendation to my students. It is particularly useful for AQA Spec (A). It is a first class revision guide.

This book has helped me a great deal since I bought it. I am doing psychology at night school and therefore don't have an easy access to the library as day students would. This book has answered the questions for me that were not previously being answered in class. The diagrams help you to see the bigger picture in a more simplified manner and add to the hand outs we had been given in class. Because this book is an up to date version you know that by reading this book alongside the AS Level classes you will not be confusing yourself and having two conflicting stories. I would recommend this book not only to anyone doing AS level psychology but also to those who are thinking about doing it but are not quite sure. It does not try to pad out issues to make the book look bigger and just gets straight to the point and gives you a straightforward answer/description. The book is not only a reasonable price but is also a valuable guide to my year ahead. If you are doing psychology you need this book.

I would recommend to all AS psychology students to purchase this book as soon as they start the course. I was not sure about some aspects of the course before reading this book, but it gave a detalied summary as well as diagrams (funnily enough) and has helped me to understand key areas of the course more easily. I would imagine it will be a great revision tool when i come to sit my AS exams in june. Excellent, well set out book which covers areas of A2 psychology as well and suitabkle for several syllabus'
