Very Very Good! 12 Dec 2008
Format:Paperback
I have purchased this book as I am re-taking core studies 1 and 2 in Psychology. The book is superb with many colourful pictures and pages and really helps in reminding me of the studies. Everything you need to know about the studies is in this book and with the use of pictures and colours will really help you to remember everything you need to know.

Definately Recommended!!!

This book is a bit all over the place and does not cater for any exam board in particular, it just seems to give you random facts!
I'm a teacher, and all of my students who used it discarded it in favour of other books and said they found it unhelpful and rather confusing.

I am currently revising with this book at the moment. I find that it does have the basic information on the 20 core studies for the OCR course. but it is lacking in detail about core studies. this revision guide also lacks clarity and can be quite hard to understand at times. i have found though, that revising with the book and the website www.holah.co.uk is good in giving you the required knowledge. this book does, however focus on the key points such as strengths & weaknesses & ethical issues which is required for the exams. hopefully this helped a little bit.
