As a teacher of psychology, I find this book an absolute godsend and recommend it to my own students as a great accompaniment to our core text. It is comprehensive, well pitched and highly readable for anyone interested in the subject. I particularly like the detail it offers in relation to key case studies which are accompanied by evaluations and discussion topics. It is great for use with the AQA syllabus and includes useful study tips and exam question examples.

Fantastic textbook for AS Level. It contains topics specific to the AS course by AQA in particular and is well laid out and concise. Everything in it is easy to understand and clear to those just starting Psychology. Best psychology book in my opinion for AS Pyschology and should be used by all colleges and 6th forms.

I have used and am still using this book extensively for the teaching of A/S level Psychology. It's greatest strength lies in supplying key studies in an easy to understand format, plus an analysis of the research's strengths and weaknesses. It also provides a more indepth approach to Psychology A/S level than other relevant books. Students just starting out may find the amount of information contained in this book a little overwhelming, but for those wanting to find out about key studies and read around topics this is an excellent book !
