Product Description

Product Description
The pioneering contribution to infant psychology that gave us separation and individuation documents with standard-setting care the intrapsychic process of a child's emergence from symbiotic fusion with the mother toward affirmation of his own psychological birth. 5.0 out of 5 stars Mahler et al is magic, 5 April 2009
By Mrs. Amanda Weaver "Amanda" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Never having children of my own meant that I have no personal experience of the early development of infants. This book gave me a real insight into the how and the why of infant development. I was asked to read it for professional development, and having done so, I am glad I did. It is a truely amazing journey for the infant that you can share and It made me wonder how I was as an infant. Insightful and interesting

4.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting theme, 18 Jun 2009
As a young mother this book as helped me identifying some critical groth steps of my baby.

Most of times babies behaviours show us what we are doing wrong. And most of the times we just don't see it....

This book helped me to be more aware. Very important things are revealed and help us being better parents.
