While the documentary's full of interesting stories and facts about the Psycho films, it's so sloppy in terms of how it was put together and appears to have been quickly patched up with Adobe Premiere. The actual video and sound quality of some of the interviews looks like it was literally filmed on a home camcorder (I'll excuse the Perkins footage).
Also, while on Bluray, I'm pretty sure that this is just standard definition footage placed on a Bluray disc. The aspect ratio is incorrect all the way through so it's clearly been remastered wrong. It appears to be 4:3 all the way through, not 16:9 as advertised and this makes it appear very awkward and distracting on a widescreen TV.
Overall a decent documentary content-wise, but a massive let down in terms of production and remastering.
There's no reason that this couldn't have been released on DVD.
