4.0 out of 5 stars She wants her baby..... 22 Jan 2011
By I. R. Kerr TOP 500 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE
Set in a closing down hospital, the patients have all been moved and Roslyn (Sara Foster) gets a job on the night shift sorting out the records, the ony other people on site being a really weird security guard and a Professor working on one of the upper floors.
Roslyn starts to see hear voices and sees strange visions of a young girl, further unnerved by the threat of a local serial killer known as the Nighthawk who has been killing women with a claw-hammer and whose attacks appear to centre in the area round the hospital. When one of the female hospital employees is killed by the Nighthawk a local detective Marling (Michael Biehn) arrives on the scene.
Sara soon begins to suspect that her taxi-driving husband (Gabriel Mann), who also works nights, may be the killer which puts a further strain on their relationship.
There's plenty twists along the way as our initial ideas as to where the plot is heading start to unravel and nothing is quite what it seems. There may be one too many twists for some people but I liked the ending and would give it a solid 7/10.
The cast is pretty impressive, Foster's performance is excellent only bettered by Cary Elwes' psychiatrist (Dr Clement). The settings are suitably claustrophobic
What makes it a definite 4 star DVD is the extras, including out-takes (22 mins), deleted scenes (35 mins) and "Who is Andrew Shortell" the production diaries of the making of the movie made by the director.
I'll definitely be watching this movie again.

This is a 50/50 film. not bad viewing but nothing special. I must admit I was a little disappointed. The outcome is abit predictable. There is a murderer killing blonde women but you don't see any of that so there is hardly any violence or gore. The scariest part is knowing there really are people out there like her!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very dull
Boring horror film, very predictable, nothing really worth watching with this film. There are many better horror films outthere so I would avoid this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars gets a bit predictable
This film starts off great, middle goes a bit down hill and gets slow by the time you get to the end you basically know what is going to happen, so rather dissapointing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nothing supernatural but gripping nonetheless
I love ghostly spooky films (as opposed to the gory horror kind). In my opinion the character of the film changes from paranormaly-implied creepiness to a 'who-dun-it? Read more
