Now was she talking to us, the audiance, about her nude scene. The line used "I'll give them what they want" was a very interesting one at a very interesting point, don't you think?
But I feel that she wanted to get her kit off to show us more than we were wanting to see her. Don't get me wrong - she looks great - and I am more than happy to watch Ricci sitting on a bed nude as he mother character comes in and chats to her - not even noticing she is it seems. Okay - my question - why didn't she act the whole movie that way then. Ricci can't wait to get it off.
As far as the rest of the movie goes - funny in parts. But if you put a scene like that at the start - everyone knows that is it and so why watch the rest of the movie? Get them waiting and waiting, do that in the middle and hope they like the story so much that they stay until the end. That's the way you do it.
