Not worth the price

I saw this group on TV and they gave a spectacular performance, singing in several different languages, all the musicians seemed incredibly versatile and talented, and they were very entertaining to watch. This was an expensive CD at over $20, but I was so impressed that I decided to splurge. Now I wish I could get my money back. This is a band that you obviously need to see live to appreciate - a CD doesn't do them justice, so I was disappointed. I thought the songs were too long and repetitive, and many of them sounded just alike, they all sort of blended together to create a lot of noise. If you already love these guys, I'm sure this is a CD you'll want. If this is your first exposure to them, I'd suggest getting a different CD or buying it used. I'm not saying they're not great musicians, this CD just didn't impress. I'll probably never listen to it again, but if I had the chance to see them live, I'd do it!
