Product Description

Since she had left her husband Came Radley, Lesley had had a hard struggle to bring up her small son Jeremy and hold down a full-time job-but somehow she had managed it. But all the time, at the back of her mind had been the nagging fear that one day Came might want to have more say in his son's upbringing. Now that moment had come, and she and Jeremy were to go to Yorkshire to spend a summer holiday on Came's farm. And to the dread of losing Jeremy was now added the realisation that, despite their estrangement, she was still attracted to Came. But she was no more welcome in his home now than she had been before.
