Product Description

Growing up in the shadow of Sin City, Las Vegas, smart but troubled high-schooler Alex Mackendrick is dissed by his girlfriend, bullied by his boss and abused by his drunken step father. However his life is about to change when he becomes empowered by a pair of prototype telekinetic gloves stolen from his only real friend, an experimental scientist. The God fearing teen spins violently over the edge when the scientist is accidentally killed during a fight over the gloves. Convinced that his life is over, Alex heads out on a resentment filled revenge spree, using his newly acquired kinetic powers to pay back those who have done him wrong.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money 3 Oct 2010
Format:DVD
Not really an original story (the concept is used in a lot of movies). No great acting to speak of. No eye catching special effect. A lot of flags of disbelief. After viewing this movie I tried to find something positive about it and didn't really find it. I guess the only reason why there is a dvd of it is because with an intreging cover/coverstory this might actually sell.

We find a young man is some backwater town of the states who doesn't have it going well for him, bad job, his girlfriend cheats on him with his manager, his father is a drunk who hits him, actually he only has one friend. This is the first part of the film trying to make you feel sympathie and sorry for the guy and understand how he comes to do what he does.

The prototype, being a glove/amplifer enabling a human to move/crush object with his mind, is made by his friend at his home. you would expect this to be rather in a secure lab. To thank his only friend for he steals to prototype and goes on a killing spree and finally gets shot.

What is the point? If you find it please let me know?
