4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic 16 May 2011

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
The best game I've played in a while. Whether you want to follow the plot, or just roam around the city, there is always lots to do so you will never be bored. The plot is very gripping, if a little confusing at times. Also, the protagonist is so superpowered and badass he makes taking down the tanks, helicopters and monsters look like childs play. This game is defintely worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic. Thoroughly Enjoyable 24 May 2012
Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Classics
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I first got this game along with a bunch of others when I first purchased my xbox off a friend. I played it, enjoyed the abilitys to jump buildings & smash up tanks, then I switched it off for another game & thought no more about it. However, upon see'ing the trailer for Prototype 2(which looks fantastic) I decided to complete the full game. I put it on & appreciated it much more. The storyline is fantastic, you have the ability to "consume" people & in doing so you have all of their thoughts(this comes in handy when trying to find out who you are & what's happened to you). There's a few flaws like the graphics not being up to scratch, being constantly chased by monsters can be annoying, & having to constantly smash the buttons in order to kill an enemy. However, this didn't put me off what I found a fantastic enjoyable game. I can't wait to get Prototype 2!

5.0 out of 5 stars Moving around has never been so much fun 19 July 2012
Platform for Display:Xbox 360| Edition:Classics|Verified Purchase
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
What I like most about the game is the almost complete freedom to move through the city and the ways in which you can move. Running up buildings, jumping or gliding from buildings, it's all possible and the scenery is amazing.
Plus there's an interesting storyline and the controls are relatively straight forward. Some of the missions do get repetitive, especially because they come in three categories: easy, medium and difficult. Meaning you have to do the same (type of) mission several times over. However, that does not detract from the fun that this game offers.

Knocks the socks off Assassins Creed, totally brilliant. Fast paced, lots of different weapons etc. Flying from roof to roof and speeding your way up high rises - super. Going to get P2 soon!

3.0 out of 5 stars Overrated 29 July 2013
Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Classics
Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
Pros: - huge City
- nice Moveset
- fair autosave

Cons: - You never become a "real" Superhero, you never get really mighty
- That makes leveling up not useless but its not satisfying at all, you stay "weak"
- This makes the Game too hard and also unsatisfying
- Missions are repetitive
- Story is not really important
- The AI is super smart
- The camera is sooo bad

In my Opinion, Prototype is still a fun game, but you never get the chance to really enjoy it, some passages are just too hard! No matter how many skills you have unlocked. Some of the enemys are so smart, it`s ridiculous. Most of the bossfights aren`t satisfying, they are exhausting. If you spend a huge amount of time into sidequesting to unlock new upgrades, you still never become "really" strong. I`m not a fan of games where you can become so overpowered that the game isn`t challenging any more. But I also hate games where it almost doesn`t matter if you level up or not.
If you have a high frustration limit and like action, you might enjoy the game.
I played it on normal.
Thanks for reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not much of a gamer. 31 July 2013
Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Classics
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I don't tend to play many computer games but when I do I would like them all to be as gd as this one. The main thing I loved about this is the speed of game play and the ability to free roam outside of the storyline itself. If you have a short attention span and like a good bit of gore this is definitely a must have game.
