I already own a Proporta screen protector on my 2g iphone and wanted one for my 3g phone. What i have recived is a cheap far east imitation - in fake packaging. The screen cleaning cloth looks like it has been torn from an old shirt. This is not a Proporta item as advertised !

I bought a screen protector using this link a few days ago. The "vendor" has already changed since then (there is not an option for this item to buy from Amazon you will note - it is for a Marketplace seller). In fact it was NOT a Proporta screen at all but a cheap Chinese-a-like which was a poor fit.
Vendor has refunded me without any argument. Just wanted future buyers to be aware that the product you will get using this page seems to be entirely random and you definitely can't count on it being Proporta as stated.

Do not buy this product!! I received some product covered in japanese or chinese writing...followed the instruction how to apply it and it was covered in air bubbles. I got a hair stuck to it by accident, tried to pick it off and now my cover is scratched really badly. The plastic overall makes the screen look dirty. The fit to the 3g iphone is exact however.
Upon me leaving seller feedback, I was emailed withing an hour. The seller asked me to remove the comment as I had "posted it in the wrong place"!? How I don't know because I thought you were meant to say what you think of the product etc in the feedback!?!! The seller also said that I had applied the plastic incorrectly! How else do you apply a bit of plastic? I followed the instruction off the packet, not that I should have needed to. clearly other people on here have had the same problem. The sellers exact words were "we sell thousands of these and we get nothing but good reports". RUBBISH! DO NOT BUY!
