Product Description

Product Description

Black/Chrome in legendary "bicycle lamp" style!

The tradition of classic blues harp sound microphones, among harmonica players, continues with the Pronomic HM-2.

With its handy size and contoured shape, it fits perfectly between the harmonica and hands. The extremely smooth and clean sound of the HM-2 makes it also suitable for a vocal microphone.

With the 3 meter long cable you will have large range of motion on stage.

The microphone can be connected as a top performer, either alone or with its own amplifier. The chrome head and black body underline the retro look of the legendary "bicycle lamp" design!

Vintagedenotes a fashion or design direction in respect to clothing and musical instruments that have been designed with a retro look of the 1930s to the 1970s. Thus microphone styled fashion was also in this emphasis on specific details such as "used" (worn look artificially aged areas & colors) and antiqued brass construction/design.

The only problem I had with this microphone was when i first used it, I forgot to turn it up loud!
It's cool, easy to handle and use, and it gives you the great Chicago blues sound you have been looking for.
This was my first purchase of a harmonica microphone, and I must say I chose wisely!

The microphone arrived after a reasonable delay but the problems started as soon as I opened the package. The advertisement on Amazon says clearly that the mic is fitted with a 6.3mm jack plug - NOT TRUE, it's fitted with an XLR plug, so you'll need to buy an adapter. The illustration implies that the mic comes in a smart looking wooden box - NOT TRUE, no box, just a little cloth bag!! During its first use, I became aware of a rattling noise from inside the body of the mic and then noticed it was "cutting out" when I moved the mic or the cable. I packed it up and informed the seller through Amazon, and was told they'd e-mail me a prepaid label for it's return. Two weeks later, no label, so I chased them up and got the label next day. I assume the seller accepted the mic was faulty as they said they'd send a replacement. The second mic duly arrived and guess what, same problem, it kept "cutting out", ('though I have to admit this time there was no rattle). The replacement mic was returned with a note saying I'd lost confidence in the product and wanted a refund which I've now received. This whole sorry saga has lasted more than 3 months and all I've ended up with is an XLR to 6.3mm jack adapter!

finally used this as a main vocal mic at a festival recently and it kicked ass, lovely distortion just when you need it and a great vintage tone! Winner! also just tried it out for recording vocals, didnt have to eq, mix or compress a thing, sounded great form the onset!

great sound and good value - I like the fact that it can be attached to a mic stand if needed
