Very solid and strong, yet movements are smooth even with a heavy TV on it. Quite easy to put up - comes with a little spirit level built in, but I found it easier to use my standard "1m" builder's level to get the holes level. You fix it either with 6 bolts and wall-plugs or 4 bolts going into the studs of a plaster board wall. My wall is the latter type (i.e. plasterboard wall, fixed on studs=wooden beams), so you need a stud-finder tool (I already had one) to locate the studs. The bolts are quite long, and I had to go and buy an extra long drill bit to drill out the wall behind the studs. If you have a friend to hold it while you measure up that will help as it is pretty heavy.
Once up the whole thing is very impressive - my Toshiba 37" LCD sits very happily on it and swings about easily (but not too easily). We move the TV about twice a day and it's now very easy. Also tilts up and down a little - about 10 degrees either way. Fitting looks quite versatile and should fix to any standard VESA mount.
Highly recommended.
