Projections is a collection of Back drop videos produced by Derek Jarman for the Pet Shop Boys first world tour.
Quite honestly the only people who should purchase this are hardened PSB and Derek Jarman fans, I say this because the Video does actually take quite an interesting double peak into the Mindset of the lads, and the director Derek Jarman.
The short films are quite difficult to enjoy by themselves even with the music, but there are some choice moments Like the Videos produced for Being Boring, and Violence, which are in a completely different style to the others, I believe one of them was matched to Jarman's first Student movie, and it works really well.
If your after a complete history of PSB on video this would be a good addition to your collection, but be warned you will only ever watch it a couple of times.

It is really good to be able to view the fantastic projections used by Derek Jarman for the 1989 Tour of the Pet Shop Boys. He directed seven proper shorts here, all of them enhanced by PSBs' great music. As a bonus, we have a great short film commented by "Being Boring" and another one with "Violence" as a soundtrack. I badly miss Derek Jarman, one of the genuine top talents of British cinema in the 1980s, and who left us way too early. Enjoy these small moments of his authentic genius, sense of direction, and utter love of life.
