i give this text 5 stars because it takes the reader from the beginning to the end of their studies, it is well laid out, very descriptive, very easy to understand, it is the only book you will need if you want to take the Project Management exams at the end of your studies as the level of detail is good, with very many examples of a variety of situations PM's can find themselves in.
written for an American audience, packed full of new to me phrases and terms - but just immerse yourself in it and you will get through. A Project Management qualification will almost automatically get you a job almost anywhere, in almost any country.
Recommended to undergraduates, especially if you have free time (10-12 weeks) over the summer holidays - try and get this before your 1st year begins, read it during the summer, so when you attend University and the tutors discuss Project management, you can impress them with your knowledge (extra brownie points too!). all employers today (Nov 2013) seek staff who are able to handle their work as a project, so this text on Project Management is a boon and a MUST READ, especially as it covers almost all of the recommended course work (plus more!) that you would cover for a course before you sit exams on PM.
